Head to Toe 100k Cambridgeshire
Cycle Fundraiser
Support your local NHS Trust! Raise money to transform the lives of people in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough who need long-term physical and mental health care. Starting and ending in Cambridge, we are hosting a guided, supported 100k cycle challenge (50k option available) on a circular loop around the pretty fenland and winding country lanes of rural Cambridgeshire. The ride will be guided by a team of our expert Red Fox cycling ride leaders, supported by one of our trusty support vans and we'll organise venues for a self-funded lunch and celebratory arrival drinks for our majestic finishers.
At a glance
We are looking for riders to join us and help Head to Toe raise vital funds to help support people with mental health and long term physical health
conditions across our region.
A very achievable one day challenge.
Both 100k and 50k routes are flat, quiet and fully paved (except for one or two sections of gravel). We will use primarily country lanes, National Cycle Route (NCR) and cycle paths though you should expect some busier roads to connect routes.
The scenery is unique. North Cambridgeshire is home to the 'Fens', a marshy region supported by a system of drainage channels and man-made rivers. It is the flattest area of the country and a paradise for cyclists wanting to clock up lots of miles!
Participants could complete this ride on a road, hybrid, gravel or mountain bike.

Sponsorship
You will be asked to pay a registration fee of £25 to secure your place. This fee is non refundable and goes towards the costs associated with the event and your fundraising pack.
Option 1 – Sponsorship
The cost of holding an event such as this can be expensive, to ensure that we contribute as much of your money as possible towards our NHS services we, like other charities, have to set a minimum sponsorship target (in this case £150). We will be on hand to support you in your sponsorship journey with lots of ideas. One of the easiest ways to do this is by setting up an online fundraising page with JustGiving. This can easily be shared among friends and family via Whatsapp or your social media channels. Other simple examples include things like bake sales, a raffle or sweepstake, a swear jar, guess the teddys name, a coffee morning or quiz night. We will provide you with your very own fundraising booklet, full of many more ideas!
Option 2 - Self funding (Pay for your place in full and set your own minimum sponsorship target).
If you don’t feel confident in your ability to fundraise but would still like to take part in the event you do have the option to pay for your place in full in advance. If you would like to do this please contact: laura.semple@cpft.nhs.
