Section 1 Bookings

Section 1.1 The Booking Contract with Kambe Events Ltd

These terms and conditions apply to bookings taken via our disclosed agent, Kambe Events Ltd. By making a booking you agree to be bound by the general ticketing Terms and Conditions of Kambe Events Ltd. For clarity, the link to the Agent Terms and Conditions can be found here:

Where you purchase a ride through Kambe Events Ltd, all rides are run by Red Fox Cycling Limited, ‘the principal’, a private limited company registered in England and Wales, company number 11138732.

By booking a ride, you acknowledge that you have read, understand and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and the above referenced Terms and Conditions of Kambe Events Ltd.

These Terms and Conditions supplement (and do not replace or supersede) the Terms and Conditions of Kambe Events Limited.

Your booking is confirmed and a contract exists when Kambe Events Ltd issues a written confirmation following a successful payment transaction. Please check your confirmation carefully and, if anything is incorrect or there are any omissions, contact Red Fox Cycling or Kambe Events Ltd immediately.

Section 1.2 Purchasing a ride in conjunction with a Red Fox Cyclist festival ticket.

The Red Fox cyclist tickets offer a £15 saving on Adult tickets, but must be purchased in conjunction with booking a Red Fox Cycling guided ride to Shambala.

You must arrive to site on your bike, with the Red Fox tour and bring proof of your tour booking to the event.

If a cyclist ticket holder does not arrive to the festival as above, right of admission will be refused.

Section 1.3 If We Cancel

In the highly unlikely event that we need to cancel a ride, we will organise for a full refund to be provided via Kambe Events Ltd. If we cancel, we'll tell you no less than 30 days before the ride start date so you can make alternative plans.

If we cancel we will not be responsible for any incidental expenses you may have incurred such as travel expenses, visa or insurance costs and we are unable to pay any compensation.

Section 1.4 If anything goes wrong

Red Fox Cycling Ltd is a company committed to customer satisfaction and consumer financial protection. We are therefore pleased to announce that, at no extra cost to you, and in accordance with ''The Package Travel, Package Tours Regulations 1992'' all passengers booking with Red Fox Cycling Ltd are fully insured for the initial deposit, and subsequently the balance of monies paid as detailed in your booking confirmation form.

The policy will also include repatriation if required, arising from the cancellation or curtailment of your travel arrangements due to the insolvency of Red Fox Cycling Ltd. This insurance has been arranged by Towergate Chapman Stevens through Zurich Insurance PLC.

In the unlikely event of Insolvency, you must Inform Towergate Chapman Stevens immediately on +44 (0) 1932 334140 or by email at . Please ensure you retain the booking confirmation form as evidence of cover and value.

Policy exclusions: This policy will not cover any monies paid for Travel Insurance or any claim relating to Air Flights. Please ensure the Company you have booked with has the appropriate CAA / ATOL Bonds in place.

Section 2 Health and Safety

Cycling can be dangerous and you should consider the risks before booking a ride. You are responsible for assessing whether a ride is suitable for you. It is your responsibility to assess the risks and requirements of each aspect of the ride based on your own unique circumstances, limitations, fitness level and medical requirements.

If you have any pre-existing medical conditions which may impact your ability to participate in a ride or may adversely impact the experience of others on your ride, you must inform us at the time of booking or in response to a request for information which every rider will receive in advance of the ride.

We reserve the right to request further information or professional medical opinions to guarantee your safety or the safe operation of a ride.

We reserve the right to deny you permission to participate in any aspect of a ride at any time and at your own risk and expense if we determine that your physical or mental condition renders you unfit for travel or you represent a danger to yourself or others.

In the event that you do not inform us of a known medical condition, and this comes to light prior to a ride, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and all applicable cancellation fees will apply.

We will be cycling mostly on cycle paths, B roads and country lanes. However, there will be times when we cycle on busier roads where traffic density is higher. Bicycle helmets are mandatory and you will not be allowed to participate without one. All persons undertaking this ride do so at their own risk and we cannot be held responsible for any accidents that may occur whilst on the trip.

Section 3 Age Restrictions

The minimum age to participate in a ride is 16.

Anyone under the age of 18 on the first day of the tour is considered to be a minor. Minors must always be accompanied by an adult. One adult may accompany up to 2 minors.

Each adult on a booking with a minor or minor(s) is responsible for the behaviour, wellbeing, supervision and monitoring of all minors, and accepts these terms and conditions for and on behalf of all minors on their booking, including all assumptions of risk and limitations of liability. Red Fox Cycling expressly disclaims any responsibility for controlling minor(s).

If the consent of a parent, guardian or any other person is required by applicable law for any minor to travel, the accompanying adult is responsible for securing all consents, documentation and ensuring that they and the minor(s) meet all legal requirements to travel or participate in a ride. Red Fox Cycling will not be responsible for any fees, damages, or losses incurred as a result of any failure to secure necessary consents, permits and approvals.

Section 4 The Routes

The cycling routes and maps on each of our ride summary pages are the product of detailed planning and route testing and we will always endeavour to follow the route as advertised. However, there may be situations where we need to change the route, for example where we believe an alternative route will create a better experience for the group. This may include changes in weather conditions which render a given route uncyclable or unforeseeable events such as roadworks or blocked roads. This may also include the identification of a more suitable route through further planning and route testing.

Section 5 Terms of Accommodation

Section 5.1 Upgraded Camping (called ‘Camping Plus’ as at 15th October 2018)

The ‘Camping Plus’ service means we commit to provide you with a tent from our support van and pre-pitch it on your behalf. On rare occasions you may arrive at the campsite ahead of our support van. If this happens, we will provide and pitch the tent for you when we arrive. Red Fox Cycling cannot be held responsible for delays caused by unforeseeable circumstances, such as traffic or serious accidents. If we are unable to provide the service, we will always provide a refund in full within 7 days of the incident occurring.

The tent we provide will always be either the exact person capacity requested and paid for as part of your booking or larger. You will never pay more if the tent we provide is larger.

Section 5.2 Comfort

If you upgrade to ‘Comfort’, you will stay in either a B&B, hotel, guest house, country pub, yurt, shepherds hut or some combination of these on the days of your ride.

If you are booking for multiple people, we will always endeavour to offer you three options. You may either choose a single bed in a shared twin (for example, if you are travelling alone), a sole occupancy single room or a twin / double room.

Section 5.2.1 Single bed in a shared twin

If you share with another member of the group, we will always book you into a twin room with someone of the same sex. We can only accommodate a request to share if there is another solo travelling member of the group of the same sex who has also requested the ‘single bed in a shared twin’ option. If there isn't one, we'll book you into a single room for no additional charge.

Section 5.2.2 Sole occupancy single room

If you have your own private room, you’ll be in a single room or have sole occupancy of a double room on each night of the ride.

Section 5.2.3 Twin or Double

If you have a preference between a twin or double room, please send us an email to once you have completed your booking. We will do our best to meet your preferences but cannot always guarantee this.

The majority of rooms will be en-suite but in rare cases you may only have use of a shared bathroom.

Section 6 Insurance

We cannot be held responsible for your own illness, or for any personal injury, loss of or damage to your bike or belongings whilst riding. You take part at your own risk.

We strongly recommend you have adequate travel insurance and medical cover in place to cover personal accident, loss of or damage to your belongings and any expenses incurred as a result of the cancellation of your ride.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you have sufficient coverage and comply with the terms of the applicable insurance plans. You are responsible for advising your insurer of the type of travel, destination(s) and activities included in your booking so that the insurer may provide appropriate coverage.

Section 7 Special Requirements

If you have any special requests or requirements we will always endeavour to meet them. You should email if you have any such requests or requirements.

Any special requests or requirements do not form part of the terms and conditions or the contract between you and Red Fox Cycling and Red Fox Cycling is not liable for any failure to accommodate or fulfil such requests.
