WHAT'S SO GREAT ABOUT THIS TRIP?

We will meet in St George's gardens, just a stone's throw from Lime Street Station, under the shadow of the grandeur of Liverpool's St George's Hall, Central Library and World Museum.

We will meet in St George's gardens, just a stone's throw from Lime Street Station, under the shadow of the grandeur of Liverpool's St George's Hall, Central Library and World Museum. A short cycle through the historic business district before a ride on the iconic Ferry Across the Mersey to get us to Birkenhead, and the architectural splendour of Hamilton Square and its Georgian terraces.

We will traverse the quieter country lanes of the Wirral peninsula passing through the timeless villages of Thornton Hough, Raby and Willaston, much of it in the conservation area of the Lever estate with its 22 listed buildings.

On, through Two Mills, with perhaps a stop at the famous Eureka cycling cafe, before taking to the Canalside to navigate Chester, with a Lunch Stop by one of the locks ( with the option of picking up more riders at  Chester Station) . Once we leave the Shropshire Union canal, we are cycling on the idyllically quiet Cheshire roads for the rest of the day, all the way to Jodrell Bank. Our route weaves its way though sleepy villages like Waverton, Cotebrook and Little Budworth and past Oulton Park race track. A leisurely, and mostly flat route.
