Escape the City 50% off

Don’t worry folks, summer isn’t over just yet! Join us for one last hurrah on our Escape the City to the Chilterns weekend. We might be saying goodbye for now to the festival season but that’s not all the Red Fox is about; we’ve lined up a fantastic 2-day, guided cycling adventure for you! And the best bit? You won’t need to use a single holiday day.

We’ll take you on the most beautiful cycling and walking routes, over the rolling landscapes of the Chilterns Hills. Think timeless country lanes, spectacular views and picture postcard villages. Come and meet us at Tring station (a mere stone’s throw from London) on the Saturday morning where the adventure will begin. Expect to cycle around 32 miles per day (3-4 hours) plus optional walking of around 2 hours per day. We’ll have an overnight cosy camp at the stunning Chilterns Retreat campsite including all the amenities.

We do all our weekend adventures the Red Fox way with plenty of food and drinks stops. We’ll be including a wholesome and seasonal lunch at the Grange (run by Hearing Dogs for Deaf people), a pub dinner at the gorgeous Yew Tree – one of the finest pubs in the Chilterns, a coffee and cake snack stop at the rural getaway, The No Car Café plus a hearty Sunday roast at the traditional King William IV pub. And of course no country weekend is complete without a village pub walk which we’ve designed to include three historic pubs. We do love a tipple or two!

As well as cycling, eating and drinking there’ll be time to explore the local area with visits to the quintessentially English village of Aldbury and pretty Ewelme with its duckpond and local village store (also the final resting place of Jerome K Jerome for any literary buffs amongst us).

Sound good? Snap up one of our 4 remaining spots with a super deal of 50% off using the discount code CHILT50!
